Start with "75KVA, single phase" at the top of the transformer datasheet. KVA stands for kilovolt-amperes—a measure of apparent power. 75KVA is the maximum load this unit can handle. Key word: "can handle," not "must run at." In practice, keep the load around 80% of rated capacity. That extends the transformer's service life significantly.
A single phase transformer has one input phase and one output phase. It fits residential areas, street lighting, and small commercial setups. Three-phase units, on the other hand, serve factories and office buildings where 380V industrial power is required.
Voltage Parameters
Primary voltage: 4160 Grd Y / 2400V

Silicon steel is what makes the transformer work magnetically. "Grain-oriented" just means the crystals line up in one direction—this cuts magnetic losses. Result? No-load losses stay low, and efficiency goes up.
Cooling Method: ONAN
ONAN = Oil Natural, Air Natural. The oil moves on its own, pulling heat from the core and windings. No pumps. No fans. Fewer things to fail. For a pole-mounted unit in the middle of nowhere, that kind of simplicity counts.
No-load loss is what the transformer draws just sitting there, energized but unloaded. 225 watts is pretty low. Load loss happens at full capacity—750W is normal for this size class. The impedance, around 2.5%, affects short-circuit current and voltage regulation.
